I have used Apple TV for a long time. Tonight when i turned it on to show a slide show from my iPad, there is no sound. I have sound when I play music on my iPad. I have sound on my regular TV station. There is no sound from my TV when I am in Apple TV; not from movies or radio or anything that I try. Any suggestions?
I have made sure mute is not on.

Try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router.

Thank you, I restarted everything and was able to get sound through the TV on my music and slideshows. Now I need to work on getting the mirroring to work with audio!
