iTunes Producer 2.6

Well, When start to click "Software Update"on my Macbook, there was an "iTunes Producer" need to update to new 2.6 version while i hadn't and never installed an "iTunes Producer" on my Macbook. how can Macbook or Lion X software auto-installing? or is some Lion X features or from iTunes?

When i start to login by my ID apple was unregistered while my id apple using every login on apple fetures.

Exact same issue here. The program is not on my Macbook with Snow Leopard, nor have I ever purchased it.

I called Apple and they also could not explain it. I think it is an error with the Software Update servers...

Yeah, even iBooks Authors has installed twice on my Macbook. So, means i payed bills twice! ..

Just got pushed the iTunes Prodicer 2.6 -- Have no idea what this program is all about and it will not accept either of my Apple IDs. Anyone know where some HELP links might be found?

Same here. I ran "Software Update" on my MacBook and found "iTunes Producer 2.6" had been installed???

I have since run "Software Update" again and each time it runs "iTunes Producer 2.6" is installed.

Checking other Mac forums speculation is that "iTunes Producer 2.6" has been accidently pushed to some users.

this is case simliar problem when iCloud launched , all contacts on Mac and some unknown software installed. I hope Apple could check this soon.

iTunes Producer is used by content owners (producers/distributors) to add songs to the iTunes store. It won't do anything for "regular" users.
