Will it continue to work with Lion or will there be problems ....

You can also use this Terminal command to see when they ran last...
ls -al /var/log/*.out
You can also run them all once a month if they're not doing their job. Marconi(if it's still compatible) is just a GUI front end.
sudo periodic all
These scripts are very old UNIX carry-overs that were developed for large servers running 24/7. That's why the timing is always in the wee hours, when the servers were least busy.
