Hi, I am using a Mac mini, and i recently downloaded a third party driver for my mouse and it curropted my IOUSBFamly.kext. Now i do not have power on any of the usb ports, however they work fine in recovery mode. Is there any way i can fix the kext file through the recovery mode? I do not want to install a freash copy of MAC and loose all my data.

Hello, you should be able to reinstall the OS files without losing your data & settings, assuming the problem isn't Disk corruption or such.
I just re-installed the os, and this fixed my USB problem, and i dint dare to touch that app again, so I guess its still there on my HDD. But the IOUSBFamily.kext has been replaced by the Apple authentic one.
This fixed my problem, but it made my Mac very slow, takes ages to open up Safari. I guess ill backup all my data and do a complete restore.
