MIDI controller as piano sustain pedal?

I have an FCB1010 midi controller that I've configured to use as a wah pedal in my EVB3.

I'm wondering if there's a way to set up the FCB1010's expression pedals to work as a sustain pedal for the sampled pianos. Online and Logic manual research have not yielded any clues so far. (I figured how to add sustain in the Event list, but it would be nice to be able to record it live.)

Does anyone have experience in doing something like this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
