Filling a cell with an image

Hello,

Is it possible to fill a cell with an image? I'm able to it in Numbers for OSX, but cannot figure out how to do it in the iOS version.

Thanks!

Hi Raziel1,

It doesn't seem possible to fill a cell with an image in the iOS version of Numbers.

It seems the only fill options are a selection of colors or No Fill.

I was able to bring in a spreadsheet with an image fill from the Mac and the image fill was preserved. Kind of surprised me actually, but this means if you work primarily on the Mac and just tweak "on the road" on the iPad, your existing image fills aren't lost.

Edit: I was even able to copy and paste the cell and the image fill was still preserved in the new cell. This works even to a new Spreadsheet. So create yourself a "Background image" spreadsheet on the Mac with all the background images you may want, move it to iOS Numbers and it can be your source for image fills.

Hope that works for you,

ivan
