Use the Migration Assistant utility that came preloaded on your new Mac. Look for it in the Applications folder, although the OS also asked about migrating during the setup process.

it was a MILLION times easier than 'Migration Assistant: PC-to-Mac"

and the best part there is no "other" user accounts to deal with!!! 🙂

just FOLLOW the steps!! I transfered my Itunes library & pictures all in like 15 min with my ethernet cable!
