iPad 3 Why 3G does not work after being on WiFi

When I take my iPad 3 out of my house, I have to reboot it to get a 3G connection. The 3g icon shows that it is connected but when I try and access any connection it says no internet connection. My iPad 1 seemed to work ok. I've also tried putting it in Airplane mode and back again but this has no effect.

Any suggestions please? Many thanks.

I am in Australia too, on my third new iPad 3 and they are all the same. I was told by the Apple store that the forums are only a very small sample and do not mean there is a problem. I'll go back again and again until they fix it, I have been able to domonstrate every time I have visited so there is no argument.

Looks like a long road ahead.

So i lookt up his settings and so on and i noticed, that he has a different Serial Nummer. My Starts with DLXH, his was DLXF. what Kind of numbeer do you have? Mayer it's a Problem with the early Modells?

DLXH (of cause beeing a studip early addopter)

So Apple People: we are doing your Job now by sorting out the affected Serialnumbers why you still play "what Problem?!?"

I give it another week than I will return it and go back to my "old but working fine Steve Jobs Generation Ipad" and wait for iPad 3.5

Shame on you Apple people. Is this whats left over from Steve's spirit?

The guy at he hotline said "even if there is hundreds of users claiming there is a problem, compared to the millions of devices we sell it does not mean there is an epidemic" (roughly) and then asking me to do the usual stuff: reset, factory settings, go to the store, send it back..

In some post I saw nearly the same. So maybe they have already a defined answer for that: deny the problem (until w found a solution or we get more pressure from press or users)

Having a defined answer means: they have identified there is problem...

Please tell me If the answer to you was about the same?
