Q: iPad 3 Why 3G does not work after being on WiFi

Don't get replacement as you are only getting a machine that I'm sure will have same problem (in my humble opinion)

This appears to be a worldwide problem and seems to be software related not hardware. An iOS update required.

Atleast the problem will be logged with Apple thus giving rise to the number of customers that are struggling with this data connectivity issue.

Reading through the forums there would appear to be many temporary fixes, but not much that is permanent.

I am in Australia too, on my third new iPad 3 and they are all the same. I was told by the Apple store that the forums are only a very small sample and do not mean there is a problem. I'll go back again and again until they fix it, I have been able to domonstrate every time I have visited so there is no argument.

Looks like a long road ahead.

That's very dissapointing. It is such a pain going to get it replaced every time for nothing. I hope they do something soon about this. Will be interesting to see if your 4-5th iPad works!

I suggest you do not hold your breath waiting for this fix to come.

Yesterday I was visiting a friend, who has bought himself the New iPad 64Gb 4G. He has T-Mobile es me and Mae uncle, but he has Not the problem which we all have. I mean Good for him. So i lookt up his settings and so on and i noticed, that he has a different Serial Nummer. My Starts with DLXH, his was DLXF. what Kind of numbeer do you have? Mayer it's a Problem with the early Modells?

Mine is also DLXH if it is a problem with early models is it perhaps worth taking it back to the apple store for a replacement?

Do you have the same iPad as your friend (64gb 4g wifi). Just want to make sure that the serial number isn't different because of the type of iPad rather than it being a revised model. I have a 32gb 4g wifi and have the serial starting DLXH.

Mine is a uk, 64g 3g with serial: DLXH7.....

Mine is a Singapore 64GB 4G and my serial is DLXH7..

DLXH (of cause beeing a studip early addopter)

So Apple People: we are doing your Job now by sorting out the affected Serialnumbers why you still play "what Problem?!?"

I give it another week than I will return it and go back to my "old but working fine Steve Jobs Generation Ipad" and wait for iPad 3.5

Correction Switzerland only has 3G service available.

I have a 32Gb 4g Modell. I dont know if there is a different because of the Modell or the Date of production. I just wanzed to Share the Information. Bevause the Rest of his settings were the Same then by me.
