Using find my iPhone?

Using find my iPhone?

Ok so I had my iPhone stolen last night.

I'm pretty sure I set up "Find my iPhone", anyway how do I actually go about using it?

Do I have to use another iPhone or can I do it anyway through my laptop?

Login to iCloud.com on your computer. If not turned off or already restored, and still connected to the internet, you "should" be able to locate your phone, assuming Find My Phone was turned on & properly setup.

It can be used through another phone using the Find My iPhone app installed, OR, you can do it by going too iCloud.com, logging in, and then clicking on the Find My iPhone icon.

I just had my iphone taken from my purse in Lodi, CA. My "find my iPhone" app worked great! I looked up the app from icloud on my laptop and showed it to the lodi police. They went and were able to retrieve it. I can't believe my good luck...thanks for the app. apple.
