i want to define a new automatic numbered headline style with prefix §.
It this possible with pages? (iWok 9.0.5)

For better understanding a simple example:
§1 Headline one
text
§2 Hedline two
text
§3 Headline three
text
and so on....
Can't be done in Pages. Pages lacks the possibility to customise the list numbering. And list are not meant to be used with headlines if they are Headings. You have to do this manually just as you did on your posting.

With in Pages 08 it was possible to change the XML for that.
But it seems that Apple change the file format to binary.

If it is a behind the scene change that is needed I can't help you. Yvan is the "expert" but he is on strike. Try searching the Pages forum older threads about lists.
