Q: Split table

Just copy and paste the table inline (not floating) in the text and it will split itself at the nearest cell boundary at the bottom of the page.

There isn't any function that can split the table into two tables. You have to copy the part you want and pate it in a second table. Then delete the rows in the first table you don't want.

In Pages 5.0 check that it is set to move with text, under arrange. View, Show arrange tools or the Arrange tab in the inspector pane.

Wrap is to handle images in your text, not tables. For what it's worth, I have the same problem.
