One of my accounts in Mail is permanently showing SMTP offline. How do I correct this? I cannot send mail! Thanks.

try creating another account on this account, with the all the info and see if that works, or you can try using the guest with permission
No, it is stlll showing (Offline). It is not the isue of server being down, because this has been going on for days. Thanks any way. If anyone has another solution, please let me know.
Have you considered calling your sevice provider to verify it is working properly?
