I am trying to export my small 30 second clip to YouTube directly from FCPX.
It will let me but it doesn't let export of 1080 or 720p. Is there a way to change this so I can
Get at least 720? Please help.

What format is your project exactly?
well i imported it in H.264 which i exported from my eyetv software the only format i can export in "Share" 940
Need the complete information on your project properties. Go to the project library and see what it says in the inspector. Post a screen shot.
2 expamples one is video i imported one is picture with text overlay.
The 960x540 can't be blown up to a larger size on exporting for YouTube. You'd have to use a different export method or Compressor make the video the size you want before uploading it to YouTube.
i understand that but why is it in 960x540? I deffinetaly have it imported to FCP in 1080p
i fixed it i was exporting it from eyetv as iPad quality 😀
