Dear Apple Support,

This is a user-to-user tech support forum. You're not addressing Apple here. You've already posted the question. There's no reason to repeat the post.

There is no version of Microsoft Office that runs on iOS. There are other apps that will allow you to open and edit Office documents, including Pages, Numbers, Quick Office, Documents To Go. You'll need to review the specs to see if any of them include the features you need. I suspect not but, as I've never needed that feature, I can't say for certain.

Best of luck.

None of the Office-compatible apps I've used have Track Changes - Documents to Go, Quickoffice, Office2 HD, Pages, GoodReader

It's a big ask - the level of compatibility needed with the MS file format would be a challenge

MS themselves are rumoured to be launching Ofice for iPad, which might help

I understand that Google Docs has a tracking feature - it should be worth investigating, and there is an iPad app for it.

furthermore can you please also confirm do we have any third party apps to review\edit track changes in documents? or unfortunately any apps for ipad has not this facility?

To my knowledge, there is no word processing app for the iPad that permits Track Changes functionality. Walt Mossberg from the Wall Street Journal says that a new app, OnLive Desktop, will let you work with Track Changes, but I think this app is really a cloud-based PC emulator. Not sure if that meets your needs or not... 😟
