error code -50

I had this problem twice in the recent few months.

No idea, why, but it helped to disconnect the external drive und to reconnect it again.

Then it worked, and no problems for months.

Today it occurred again, and I repaired as described above.

We'll see for how long.

My problem is with copying TO my external hard drive as well. Not copying FROM my hard drive. Let me know if you found a solution. I would appreciate it!
