Deleting computer from Workgroup Manager
Ok I am puzzled looking for advice. I deleted a computer account with intention of renaming the macbook, reconfiguring it for a new user, and then rebind to open directory. A new computer account does not show up in OD so I tried to add the computer account manually but am getting a message that this account already exists. How do you fully delete a computer account from OD? Is it best to instead of rename the computer in WM? What is the best way to rename computers to preserve the binding in OD?
