I have just bought a new iPad wifi + 4g, but can't figure out how to use Siri on it. The place on the keyboard where the mic button should be is taken up by an image of a globe, which when pressed flicks the keyboard layout between English and German.
Any ideas...?

I assume by Siri you mean the dictation feature? For this to work you have to be connected to the internet, then the mic key appears. Hope this helps.
Siri is not on the iPad, it's currently only on the iPhone 4S. The new iPad has a dictation function which you can enable via Settings > General > Keyboard > Dictation which should give you a microphone key to the left of the keyborad, but it's not the same as Siri.
There we go! I meant voice dictation... And that hint for the settings sorted it. Thought the bloke in the shop had somehow palmed me off with an iPad 2 or something!

Currently Siri is not available on the iPad 3 though in the summer ios six will have a feature allowing the iPad to use Siri while connected to the Internet and work in the same way as it currently does on the iPhone for S sadly at this moment in time Siri is only available for a dictation tool on the iPad 3.

With the io6 upgrade, Siri is available .
Siri us available on iPhone 4S and the new iPad (iPad3) with the iOS 6. You can use it by going to Setting>General>Siri and putting Siri On. :) hope that helps.
