Why is my iPhone 4s video not viewable in HD through text message... to another iPhone, or when it's uploaded to FB?

I record a video on my iPhone 4s. I view the video on my phone, I click email video, and the bottom of the screen says, "Preparing Video," then, when it's attached to an email is' showing up as a Quicktime .mov - this has NEVER happened before. I use to be able to record, view and then send via email and it would show up in a bubble in the text message and the email.

So now, when it's sent to another iPhone 4s or uploaded to FB (via email) it's small and grainy...

I noticed this the other day when my wife sent me a video of our daughter that she took on her phone, and it showed up on my phone as a super small pictures and horrible quailty. That's never happened before.

Help???
