This Item Cannot Be Downloaded On This Network

I'm getting the same message from my Apple TV that's plugged directly into my TV - it's also happening across my iPad and Macbook. I can see my purchased content but it won't let me pull it down from the cloud and all I can stream are 30 seconds. This seems to be happening everywhere since new threads are popping up - don't change your settings, hopefully Apple will address this problem soon!

+1 here in NC on Roadrunner using a new 1080P Apple TV. I just had Roadrunner Extreme installed and otherwise haven't changed anything else. I'm going to try restarting the Time Capsule and my router. I already restarted the Apple TV but haven't tried the computers (Macbook Pros) yet.

Update: Same thing on everything MBP & MacMini all current on updates. :-(

Interesting. I'm seeing it as well when I tried to download a past purchase in iTunes and thought it was just me. Sounds like it a server-side glitch that will need to be fixed.

Disappointing for sure! Just got mine hooked up, popped some pop corn, poured a drink and got this message as well on my Verizon FIOS network....

I guess they weren't ready for the demand?

I am getting this on all my iOS and OS devices. Am able to download music, both previous purchases and new purchases, but no TV show whether old or new. Im gonna have to watch my TV shows through Amazon.com.

It's happening to me too, I want to rent a movie in 1080p on my new Apple TV 3rd gen. We can't buy movies yet here in Dominican Republic, but I'm getting exactly the same message too. I haven't try yet to rent in 720p or SD as I'm afraid I could get charged (assuming this is an issue with 1080p content only).

I cannot access any VIDEOS on my Apple TV that's in the cloud. I get the message also here (Maryland). Verizon FIOS. I will get rid of FIOS if this is their issue. But my Apple TV IS connected to my Wi-Fi. Network. I can access my audio thats in the cloud, but anything that has to do with video, whether its in the cloud, Netflix, Youtube isn't working.

I even hooked it my apple tv via WIRED and I still get the same results. Now if I go to my comptuer and looked at the shared out stuff, it plays, but as far as the Cloud goes, it is D.O.A. for now. Sending message to apple support.

Just as I was writing up an incident report, my Apple TV is working again. They may have been doing an upgrade to video drivers in the cloud or a possible down server that may be fixed. But as of 8:45PM E.S.T It is up and running.
