Q: Some purchased iTunes movies not showing in Match

I would guess those movies that aren't showing up in iCloud are restricted by the movie companies.

iTunes Match is only for audio files, so Movies won't be uploaded back to iTunes match

Rob, I think you may be confusing iTunes match with iTunes Digital Copy where you put in the iTunes redemption code from your Bluray set.

I could be wrong, as I understand the US are getting iTunes in the Cloud, which the UK doesn't have.

Otherwise, it could be as Rajiv says, some movie companies don't allow it.

Apple did not add movies to iTunes Match. They added them to the iTunes in the Cloud services, which is not the same thing.

However, the reason some movies aren't showing up for re-download is because the rights holders aren't allowing it. Apple does not control the copyrights to the content they sell and they must negotiate the rights to let you re-download it. When they have reached agreements with the various rights holders most of your movies (but do not count on all) will then be available for for re-download through iTunes in the Cloud.
