Mar 23, 2012 8:32 AM in response to jesscanadyby Klaus1,Don't try it, it is not user servicable!
You need to take it to an authorized repair centre.

Mar 23, 2012 8:43 AM in response to Klaus1by jesscanady,Thanks, I'l try that. I guess I was just looking for some things I could do myself. IE resetting the PRAM ect.
I also didn't know if this is a common problem with Tiger/iMac G5. The computer is not making any strange noises and nothing is freezing it just will never load past the Loading this OSX screen. It even goes to sleep.

Mar 23, 2012 8:53 AM in response to jesscanadyby Klaus1,Just to clarify: the iMac G5 iSight is not user servicable (except to install RAM), but the earlier G5 iMacs are, so it depends on which one you have.
The link I provided actually refers to the pre-iSight models. Sorry, I should have made that clear.
