I have a 30GiG Apple iPod classic, that is just failing to restore.
I have restored it 4 times, and each time the same pop up comes up "iPod is in restore mode"
I just keep restoring it over and over.
Has anyone else ever had this issue?

what i did is disabling automatic searching for softwareupdates in the itunes menu. Then when the ipod is connected, select for not search the firmware but use the firmware that is all ready on the ipod. This will take some time, but for me it went ok. Worth a try i would say so!
