Q: My friend from London sent us an itouch with a playlist for our wedding. I want to put songs from my own itunes onto it but I am told it can only be synched with one copy of itunes and to sync it with mine, I'd have to erase the playlist. Help!

I want to put songs from my own itunes onto it but I am told it can only be synched with one copy of itunes and to sync it with mine, I'd have to erase the playlist. How can I put my own songs onto my new itouch without losing her gifted music?

Was the music actually gifted to you (to yur iTunes acciount) by the gifting option of the following or was purchased with your iTunes account
iTunes Gift Options
Otherwise, the music did not transfer wth the iPod. It is against copyright law to use the music.

While one can only sync with one iTunes library, you can manage music and video among different computer by:
Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers
