How do I empty trash on my i-pad?

Does anyone know how I can empty trash on my ipad 2? I'm stumped and would appreciate any help. Thanks

You'll see a Trashcan icon when using some apps but this is a delete function and not a trash can like the one on your computer. The delete function is used to delete something and once you do that the item is gone.


The only place where some things are kept in the "trash" for some period of time is in Mail. Deleted items are kept for a period of time that is set in

Settings > Mail > You've Account > Advanced > Deleted Messages > Remove after??
