Remote and Keynote/Powerpoint

Does anyone know if the remote can be used for advancing slides in keynote or powerpoint?

Just tried it. The remote works fine with Keynote for advancing slides (and moving backwards) or changing the volume.

Does nothing with PowerPoint.

I'll stick with Salling Clicker even though I have a MBP with a remote. It blows my student's minds when I take out my Treo650 and control my Mac remotely. Also Salling Clicker lets you do much more with Keynote than just change slides.
