Few weeks ago I was joined to domain the MAC with netbios name matches the name of the domain controller. After that got a big problem with the domain controller. From here came to the conclusion - MAC uses netbios.

Do I need for MAC WINS server?

Can I change the order of search for names that have DNS was before netbios?
