If I want to record live streaming audio to listen to later is there a way?

Check out Soundflower. I gave you the macupdate.com download page so you can see possible alternative in the Similar Software section of that page.
According to the description Soundflower should be able to intercept the streaming audio and pipe it to any audio recording program (Audacity?).

As X says; I've been using Audacity with Soundflower for about 8 years now and it's a good combination.
How can I record streaming audio 10.6.8?
