I am not able to import contacts from a .csv file to address book.

I am not able to import contacts from a .csv file to address book. The import stalls when I press ok and next at about no 4 of 300. For some reason, the import notes I have over 400 contacts when I have about 300. Any advice?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Is it comma or tab delimited?

Could there be some strange characters or different number of variables in those early lines?

Try Address Book Importer...
