How do you back up iPhone and Mac to the iCloud service without using WiFi? I live in a university where internet speed and download is limited. It said it needed 38 hours to back up. What can I do now?! I have both a MobileMe account and another Yahoo! email I use for iTunes purchases.

This has been the most difficult thing to do. Changing over, then errors, and such. It is a HASSLE! I am disappointed in Apple for making this uneasy for its customers.

AND, does iCloud backup/sync with iPhoto? Normally, my iPhone syncs photostream with iPhoto. So what is the case now?

I have:

1) iPhone 4S with iOS 5.1

2) MacBook Pro OS X 10.7.3 Lion

What shoud I do?!

Please help me!

    Hi ..

How do you back up iPhone and Mac to the iCloud service without using WiFi?

The whole point behind iCloud is to sync via Wi-Fi. It's not an option for everyone.

I have both a MobileMe account

In case you're not aware, MobileMe services terminate on June 30th, 2012.

Read here >  Apple - MobileMe - MobileMe transition and iCloud

Normally, my iPhone syncs photostream with iPhoto.

Photo Stream is part of iCloud. Without iCloud enabled, you're not syncing via Photo Stream.

"With Data" ...  Compatible devices will automatically backup music, iBooks, apps, settings, photos, and app data to iCloud over Wi-Fi  >  iCloud Frequently Asked Questions

    What can I do now?!

You can turn off iCloud services on your Mac in System Preferences > iCloud. For your iPhone tap Settings > iClooud > Delete Account.
