Creat an account without a credit card, None option. Help

Ok so here was my problem.... Id go into theapp store and try to dl a free app. It would ask me to log in and i would. Then it would say "this account has not been used in the app store be4 and you need to review. So from ther on you end up at a page asking for credit card or gift card info. On my iPad it only has credit cards and gift cards. On my computer iTunes it has credit cards, gift cards and paypal as options. So I was told to go here

In that forum it asks you to sing out of your account and creat a new one and then you will be able to see a option for NONE as payment. BUT WHO WANTS TO DO THAT! you loose all your information if yo make a new account. So here is the answer below.

1. go to - - http://support.apple.com/kb/HE40?viewlocale=en_US and look back here for step 4

2. follow the steps there BUT AT STEP 4 just change your email slightly ex.(sppaille@yourmail.com - change it to sddaille@yourmail.com)

3. Then click save changes. Now signout of appleID.

4. NOW you can go here ----- http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 and follow the directions for ither computer or mobile device. (I did iTunes on computer so I'd say do it that way.)

This way you wont have to worry about loosing all your data and having to creat a new account.

Hope this helps you guys out. It sure did for me.

How does providing Apple a fake email addess assist in this? How does one get the verification email from Apple for the account with a fake email address?

Please explain how this actually works.

You just go make a new account with your email.

This allows you to go through the creat process again

Changing your email is only temp so you can use the creat account option anew

Only way to see the NONE option me is by creating a new account after trying to download a free app

Most folks' Apple ID is an email address, but you are not advocating to change that, just the primary email address associated with the Apple ID? And to create a temporay email account with the same email address with the email provider as well? Then after they have created their iTunes account with the None option, they should return to their original primary email address in the Apple ID? And also abandon the temporary email account?

You should probably have explained all of that in your comment so folks are fully aware of the process.

Exactly! I'd like to know the answer to this question, too. Because no change at the level of email address, as well as country, where account is registered.

I've tried it all. "PayPal" button was there when I chose US (or UK, I don't remember because of so many attempts... sigh). But then again I can't verify it successfully, because upon loging on PayPal. Reason: my account is not placed in US / UK.

I wish verification through PayPal was available for Poland. We CAN actually use PayPal in Poland, so what's the problem?

Just follow exactly what it says above and see if it does not work.

I can dl apple free apps now

My apple I'd is the same as my primary emai (only one option)

Just try it.

Thanks, but that's not a valid piece of advice, at least in my case and as much as have tried to I understand it.

An email (submitted while registering) = Apple ID

You can actually submit the same email twice (still it changes nothing even if one confirms an account from a number of Alternate Email Addresses):

1) as Apple ID and Primary Email Address

2) as Alternate Email Addresses

... but you CANNOT separate Apple ID from Primary Email Address in my version of user panel.

I suppose we have different versions of user panel. Any other ideas?

FOR U AND EVERY ONE! this creating an account without credit card dunt work any longer specially with the new itunes.Itunes charge u for 1USD.iTUNES ACCOUNT is not free thts wwhy u have to provide creit card information at any cost .The method which every one is suggesting of creating account without creit card inforation is not working anymore .I tried all the methods hunreds of time.THIS ALL IS **** ******** .U have to provide a creit card information for original,safe and trusted itunes account .

This is all false. Apple does not charge to have an iTunes account. The method to create a new account without a bank card is working fine.

I can cOnfirm this works. Basically by going into Manage my Apple

ID and changing the email, it sort of purges your original email from the system allowing you to go to the AppStore, "purchase" a free app then create a new apple ID using the original email address and it will allow you to choose "none" for payment info. Tried it tonight and it works!
