I got the OSX Install Dvd that came with my Macbook with the Snow Leopard OS. It says it is a "Macbook" disk so thats my question...
Will it work with a Desktop Computer?
Its a Leopard 10.5.8, it has an Intel Core Duo
I want to update it to lion.

No. DVD that come with Mac are are specific to the hardware of the Mac they shipped with and will not work on another. If you wish to upgrade you must buuy the Snow Leopard DVD.
A Mac with an Intel Core Duo processor can't be upgraded to Lion. The Mac must have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor in order for Lion to install.

No, the installation disk that came with your MacBook is specific to that Mac. The retail version of Snow Leopard (purchasable here: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A) will work with any Mac.
