The letter suffix following the number for each model indicates the country or market where it was made to be sold. This may affect the DVD drive region, keyboard markings, and perhaps other localization features. LL/A is the suffix for USA models. I don't know where HN is — perhaps Hong Kong.

You'll only have an pApple warranty if you buy the machine from an authorized Apple reseller brand new, or if it's a used computer with some of its original warranty period remaining. There is no way you can have the machine checked for "genuinity," whatever that means, until it's in your posession. You can check for remaining warranty on it, if you can get its serial number from the seller, by entering that number on this page:
