What I am seeing is that my iPhone 4S and and my iPad 2 sync to iCal.
What I am seeing is that my new iPad (this the new iPad and not the new iPad I just bought), does not. I always get 3000 sync conflicts. I know that if I sync them, I will then have 6000 Entourage entries in Entourage 2008. (Easy enough to delete because they have no catagories but they will always come back.)
Usually these conflicts are easily solved by copying the contents of my computer (iTunes 10.6 sync) to the Apple device. It resets the sync function. However with the new iPad (this the new iPad and not the new iPad I just bought) never syncs and these conflicts never go away. Therefore anything calendar event you enter on the new iPad (this the new iPad and not the new iPad I just bought) will sync back to the iCal and therefore never to Entourage.
This is the same behavour with Entourage 2008 syncing that I had when iOS 5 was rolled out. It has now returned with the new iPad (this the new iPad and not the new iPad I just bought). When MS rolled out Entourage 2008 (v12.3.2) the syncing problems with my iPhone 4S and iPad2 went away. Perhaps it is an MS issue? Dunno.
I guess the question is, how did you do?
Sorry if I was a bit vague but I was trying to make the point that it appears to be an iCal issue (all other syncing works with Entourage).
