See spinning ball a lot.

Sometimes upon waking from sleep even, the MBA's spinning beach ball starts up and will spin for 5-8 minutes. There are other times when emailing or web surfing, the spinning ball will come out...not running a lot of applications or CPU-intensive work...and still get the spinning ball.

Is there something I can do to adjust settings to reduce background applications or the spinning ball from coming out?

I love the MBA and it works great but seems to have more moments of inexplicable "pause" due to some operation that is happening...
