Making a simple magazine template

Hello All,

I don't really use Pages very often (I normally use Apple's video apps). I have been trying to set up a simple magazine template and it doesn't seem very easy for me.

Here is what I'm trying to do: I'm going to print a 6 page newsletter that opens and reads like a typical magazine. I set the blank page for landscape (or horizontal) so my 8.5x11 when folded (like a magazine) would have individual pages that were 8.5 tall by 5 inches wide. So if you have never done this before this will sound confusing but when I'm laying out the entire 8.5x11 (in landscape) page 1 and page 6 will be on the same page (page one will be on the left side of the paper (8.5 tall by 5 inches wide) and page 6 will be on the right side of the paper (8.5 tall by 5 inches wide).

My question is: how do I set up my template so that Pages knows that there is a page break in the middle of the paper? If you could make a tab that split the page in half it would know that they were separate.

Thanks for you help.
