Customizing Canadian Content

Is it possible to customize the content supplied (i.e.via preferences) for Apple TV or even the iTunes store? We are supplied with a lot of French content that we really don't use. I'm sure this is even more frustrating for Francophone users who have to use an English interface to access French content.
