Q: entering passwords for ios, how secure is it?

Sorry Carolyn, other than giving novice customers who need help creating a secure password etc. I don't see any information in the link you provided relevant to my question.I did see the following (in the paragraph below) but as you see it seems to be referring to "web pages" not necessarily iOS specific devices which is what I was inquiring about.

"Apple takes precautions to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Apple online services such as the Apple Online Store and iTunes Store use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where personal information is collected."

Can you or anyone else give a yes or no answer to my question? I apologize if my phrasing wasn't clear and appreciate any constructive answers.
