How can you get help with a computer that has been recalled if Apple says it is expired?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
Well you pay for the repair or repair it by yourself. In case you are not computer savy person I'd say that it would be best to take the hard disk out (ask someone to do it) and copy all important stuff from it and sell the machine for parts. Working PowerPC iMac's are pretty cheap (atleast in here Finland) so putting much money to get one repaired is not ideal, if you can find cheap parts and fix the computer by yourself then it might be worth it.
