Logic Pro 9 Missing Channel Strip Settings / App Store

This is a new install of Logic Pro 9 from the app store on a new late 2011 macbook pro.

I purchased the Logic Pro 9 Explained tutorial from Groove3 and have been following along with great success. However, when the tutorial got to a section that went through channel strip settings (track settings), I realized that I could no longer follow along as I was missing "09 Warped". I have 01-08 and 10, but no 09. I've scoured the internet for a couple days now in search of a solution, but most of them require using Pacifist with the install disc, which I don't have since I purchased through the app store, which means I don't have an "install file" (that I know of).

I thought that I might be able to simply uninstall and reinstall, but it seems there's no real way to officially uninstall, without rooting through system folders and such (which I'm not comfortable doing, and I don't feel I should need to).

Any ideas?

Thanks!

A little update:

So I re-checked all the items in the "Download Additional Content" and had them download and install again. Now I have even less items (channel settings, Ultrabeat kits, etc..) than I had when I started. What in the world is going on with this program? I purchased Logic Pro to be used in a professional studio setting, but it's not turning out to be very solid.

Yeah, I'm sure that would be an easy way, but there HAS to be an official fix for this from apple. Nowhere in the App Store description for this product, which by the way we alI paid alot of money for, did it describe these problems. We paid for an advertised, retail, finished product which should very simply "work" and work fully as intended and as sold.

I posted the issue here and not directly with Apple support as I thought there was a possibility I was doing something simply wrong. I prefer to bring up issues such as these in public light in the hopes that I find the answer and it is left here for others in the future who may have the same issue. But seeing the apparent lack of knowledge about this issue, from beginner to advanced users alike, it seems this isn't my user error and a for real software issue.

Pancenter, the weird thing is when I open a old project before the update and with the sculpture plugin (where all the standard presets are now gone) on an instrument track it remembered the preset somehow, but you can't select anything else, it's all gone!

It sounds like they changed the location of where the preset's are stored but failed to move/copy the original presets over.

Those are careless programming errors, Logic is not tested as well as it used to be, but we've known that for a long time now.
