If I have the correct apple adapter for France, do I have to worry about change in voltage from US to France? Thank you.

No. Most macs (including yours) have a built in auto switching.

Macs will charge using the 110 to 240 apple power plug

all you will need is a plug in adapter to change the usa plug to a french one

apple sell them

but you can buy cheaper from the local electrical store
