Having a frustrating time w iTunes on a ipad2 64gb where I accidentially swipe on app and iTunes greys out the app. I find no way of reversing this process through iTunes on the iPad!

Geez thanks I would never of figured that out myself. That process certainly is not intuative. It is far too easy in iTunes on the iPad to hide stuff as one always swipes across to see more items in a list else where but in iTunes the process hides apps.
No it isn't real intuitive actually. With a touch screen device, you have to be careful when you swipe, tap and touch at times! All too often, I tap on links in web sites when I'm just trying to swipe up and down on the screen.
IIts Hide app but after refresh page its again unhidden....
When this thread was started, over 3.5 years ago, hiding directly on a device worked. You now have to use your computer's iTunes to hide apps from the cloud : Hide and unhide purchases in iTunes or iBooks on your Mac or PC - Apple Support (the 'x' might not show on the app's top left corner when you hover your mouse pointer over the app, but clicking there should still hide it)
THx who then they Dont remove this option ? It may confuse new members(
