Why can't I play Face Book games on iPad?

You can play many of them, at least the ones found in the App Store. Others you might be able to play by using one of the alternate browsers or apps out there that allow you to 'play' Flash games.

You can't play them in the way you're used to because, well ..... pick from the following:

• You aren't using what you're used to using, and it doesn't do things the same way that you're used to doing them.
• FaceBook was created by children, for children, and uses Flash ... which does not exist on Apple mobile devices.

Majority of Facebook games require flash. somethign the iPad has never suported, and Adobe has even stoped making flash compatable with Any Mobile device.

if you want to play somethign like Farmville, they have an app in the AppStore

Because they require Flash, and there is no Flash player for the iPad or any other iOS device. Look in the App Store for alternatives; some Facebook games have iOS-compatible versions.

many of them are based on flash, which the iPad doesn't support.

You can try downloading the facebook app and see if it'll allow you to play the games.
