Q: I am not able to download any application... Any application means, not even those which are free of cost...can anybody help me?

I am using ipad2, and I'm not able to download any applications...kindly help me in finding any way to get at least free applications

iPad 2, iOS 5.1

    What happens when you try to buy/download apps ? Do you get any error messages, are you not able to select apps in the App Store ... ? Are apps available in your country : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599 ?

    When I m selecting any application, it is asking me to put id and password and after entering id and password it shows a message that this has not been used in the apple store before so pls review your account settings and then it asks me credit card details and I don't have any credit card. But my ques is when I'm downloading only free application, why do they need credit card information?
