powerpc

OK, I have had a Mac in the past. Powerbook.

I now have a MacBook Pro.

I want to put the software I used on the Powerbook onto the Macbook Pro - but it says I can't becuase the new system "doesn't support PowerPC applications".

BIIIG BUMMER.

Is there somekind of interface I can use to get around this without upgrading the software??

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Thanks Niel - this is starting to work for me.

So to be clear...

1. "Emulation" - is that in Parallels or VMWare Fusion? (I'm running VMWare Fusion for Minitabs Stats in Windows already)

2. Mac OS X Server 10.5 or Mac OS X Server 10.6, is that different to "OS X 10.5 or OS X 10.6"?? (my guess is YES, due to the "server"...)

If I get OS X server, run it in VM Ware Fusion, Install my PowerPC supported software, they SHOULD run?!?!

Just to be clear... I'd really appreciate your feedback again!

Thanks

Phill
