how to put in a back to previous page button

I have links to one of my pages and after going to that page, how can I get the viewer back to the previous page?

iWeb has a quick way to set up "Home", "next" and "previous" links which are especially usefull on long pages to save the visitor scrolling all the way back to the top.

Use text or an image for the link...

... and use the Link inspector to set this up as Next, Previous or Home...

Once you have set these up you can copy and paste them to other pages.

See the bottom of this page for how to create a back to the top button...

Assuming your visitor WANTS to go back to the previous page, he can use the back arrow in the browser window, or do command-left-arrow-key (Safari), or whatever the browser allows him to do.

And if he wants to go back to the page he came back from, do the opposite : next button or Command-right-arrow-key.

And of course there must be something to go back to.

If it is the first page your visitor arrives at, there there is no going back. Or when your visitors arrives at your page from a google search page, the previous page is that one.

Or create a back button.

Or use a JavaScript :

Lots of options.
