"Find My Mac" won't stay selected

In the iCloud section of System Preferences, I can select "Find My Mac", and it works just fine. I log in to iCloud online and find my laptop. Periodically I'll go in and check my settings only to find that "Find My Mac" has been unselected. This is the third time in as many months. If it makes any difference, Safari is selected as an app that is allowed to determine my location in the Privacy tab.

Thanks in advance.

Just updated to 10.8.5. Restarted and found "Find my Mac" deselected as before (no surprise as it was left that way under 10.8.4).

Selected "Find my Mac" as well as "Documents and Data" (the latter only because I wanted to) and restarted my MBP.

Behold... "Find my Mac" remains selected! Let's hope it remains this way after several additional restarts.
