Closing apps
Is there any way I can close more than two app at the same time? It's a bit annoying that I have to close them one by one. Maybe I just don't know how.

Tap the Home button and return to the Home screen. Doubble tap the Home button to raise the dock. Tap and hold an app icon until they jiggle and a red ➖ appears in the upper left corner of the icons. Tap the ➖ on each app that you wish to close.
Not sure what you mean by closing an app. When you tap the home button the app is closed, unless it is specifically designed to run in the background like navigation, music or VoIP apps.
It's really not necessary to "close apps" on an iPad since when you switch to another app the one you were using gets put into standby by iOS. Is there some reason you think you need to "close apps?"
I think his question was not how to close an app but how to close all of them, not sure if you can do that or not. You will get out of memory logs generated if you don’t close your apps. I don’t know if that actually matters or affects anything, but the logs definitely get generated over and over.
In my experience, if you don't close/quit the Music app, little things can set it off. I have opened my shoulder bag with my iPad and found that the Music app has been playing music for hours because something accidently started it. That doesn't happen when it has been quit. There may be other apps with similar issues.
To actually answer your question - you cannot close apps any way except for one at a time. You are not missing anything or any trick.
