Hello kristina68,
Depending on the type of "modem" that you have, it may....or may not be possible to configure the Guest Network option.
Can you provide the make and model number of your modem?
On your iMac.....if you open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility....
And click on the AirPort Utility menu at the upper left corner of the screen next to the Apple icon....
And then click on About AirPort Utility.....what version of AirPort Utility do you have?
