Q: sync session failed to finish.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data doing a reset.

For some users deselect the photo sync option and syncing again after the photos were deleted solved the problem. You may also try to delete the photo cache before. iTunes: Understanding the iPod Photo Cache folder

i've read that you have to unchek some sync options (ex. Music, or Photos, Or movies) and click apply.. if this didnt work, you should try a reset settings.. =D

You can also try and go into iTunes and reset your sync history.

i'm having the same problem but nothing i attempt will help. i dleted itunes and redownloaded, before that i reset the program, my phone, and the computer multiple times. i even tried to let it sync for 9 hiurs but it never finished, i cant get any of my data back onto my phone
